We're on hold till the end of April. Probably.

Well, what a start to the new year. The corona virus has taken everyone by surprise.  And obviously, with the travel restrictions, bookings for our crawls have been cancelled from all over the world!  If you have already booked a ticket, don't worry.  As a small writers charity we're not able to do cash refunds, but your ticket will be valid for 10 years!  And its transferrable so you can always gift it.  Or, as lots of people are doing in the UK and the USA at the moment, you can 'gift' the ticket to us.  We've no income now..!

And talking of cancellations - our annual Shakespeares Birthday Crawl will not now go ahead either.  There was a plague in London in the 1600's when the King closed the theatres, so Shakespeare and his acting company took to the road and toured the UK.  Not really an option for us.  Although the Oliver Reed (above) Wimbledon tour had a great first night.  But the virus is everywhere. We might have a virtual celebration for Shakespeares Birthday, online!  Let me know if you'd be interested in a free get together!  But until we meet again, please keep safe and keep happy!  Our beloved London and her writers will still be here to greet you when this modern plague subsides.

Lots of love,

Nick
Writer and Director.

About Us

Nick Hennegan Hello. I'm Nick Hennegan and I started the London Literary Pub Crawl. Most of the blogs on here will be by me. I've always written but my first theatrical success was an adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Henry V' (www.HenryVPlay.com) I founded Maverick Theatre in 1994. (www.MaverickTheatreCompany.com) This pub crawl is really more a promenade theatre performance than a tour and I'm running it with a bunch of enthusiastic local actors and writers. I love sharing my passion for the area and the artists. I also present a weekly radio show, 'Literary London' on Resonance 104.4fm - London's Arts Station and a podcast on our site. If you haven't visited us in London yet, I hope you'll come soon. Have a look at my new site, www.BohemianBritain.com. And feel free to leave comments or email me at nick @ LondonLiteraryPubCrawl.com - I reply to them all and I love to hear from you.
